Yeah, well, this one has been done for almost two months! Although I have been pokey in blogging about it, I am just delighted with the finished product!!! The lace patterns just popped with blocking and the
Malabrigo laceweight couldn't be softer or squooshier. Even if it didn't look lovely, I could still carry it around as a security blanket. It
really is that soft!

Ooooohhh! Ahhh! Lovely lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh, my friend....this is truly magic. It's heartbendingly beautiful. It's an inspiration - I think I'm going to knit a lace shawl this winter. I've made baptism shawls for my grandsons, but they're nothing like that, of course. My dear, I pull off my (lumpy weird) toque to you - knitting like that with three wee Bs and Kitty Daddy, plus the many other grand things you do. I stand in respect.
ReplyDeleteWow. She's GORgeous and Stunning! I'm now convinced, this lace is going on 'the' list.
ReplyDeletebtw... Beebs and his longies? The Cutest! (I well imagine how comfy and warm they are, Peace Fleece is one of my all time favourite yarns)
Exquisite!

ReplyDeleteASOLUTELY GORGEOUS! And just in time for Molly Bee's Christmas present! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWOW -- That's beautiful! Nice to get a big project like that done, too! Totally different challenge than your knitting six mittens in a row, though :-)
